Photo booths are popping up at events all over town, and we’re seeing them more and more at wedding receptions. It’s really no wonder as to why… Photo booths are tons of fun, and the prints make for great party favors.

If you want to step up your photo favor game, consider gifting frames to your guests along with the photo booth print. Any 2x6" size will do, and there are plenty of options to choose from (acrylic, wooden, enamel, etc.). Many can be ordered in volume online, which may help you save time and money.

The Ultimate S'mores Station

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Tis the season for backyard bonfires and s’mores. You can’t go wrong with a tried and true combination of chocolate, graham crackers and marshmallows. In fact, this is one of our favorite treats for parties and wedding receptions that last late into the evening. S’mores are a popular choice for events at Patriot’s Point Pavilion, Founders Hall and other Charleston area venues with a fire pit or fire place. We recommend setting your s’more fixings (assorted crackers, chocolates and spreads) buffet style. That way guests can experiment with different combinations. Consider incorporating miniature sized crackers, candies and marshmallows so guests can create samples and/or kid-friendly sizes.

The Holiday season is upon us, which means it’s party planning time! Whether you’re planning an intimate gathering for family and friends or a large corporate event, we have a few ideas to make your party the best ever. 

Lowcountry Cuisine 

If you’re a Charlestonian (or if you wish you were), why not host a party with some Lowcountry flare? Shrimp and grits is a Lowcountry staple that is particularly appealing when the temperature drops. It's piping hot comfort food, and there are tons of fun topping options. Green onions, cheese, bacon… Nothing says “let’s party” quite like toppings! 

DIY Party Decor

Depending upon your party budget, there may be things you want to splurge on (food, drinks or venue), but you would probably like to save some money on other party details. Decorations can cost a fortune, but with a little creativity, they can cost very little and still look like a million bucks!
